We recently completed a full residential electrical upgrade at a property in central Accrington, where the client was undergoing a complete renovation. The property had not been updated in decades and required a modern, safe and fully compliant electrical system throughout.
Our team delivered the project from start to finish, ensuring minimal disruption to the rest of the works and maintaining a high standard of workmanship at every stage.
What We Delivered
Full House Rewire
We removed the existing outdated wiring and installed new cabling throughout the property. This included all new circuits for power, lighting, kitchen appliances and outdoor connections, fully tested and certified to current BS 7671:2018 standards.
Consumer Unit Upgrade
A new consumer unit was installed with RCBO protection, providing both overload and fault current protection on each circuit. Surge protection was also fitted to safeguard the client’s electronics.
Interior Lighting
The client requested modern LED spotlights in the kitchen and lounge, pendant lighting in bedrooms, and under-cabinet lighting for the kitchen. We supplied and installed all fittings.
Exterior Power and Lighting
We installed weatherproof sockets to the rear of the property for garden tools and outdoor use, along with dusk-sensor lighting at the back door and pathway.
Testing and Certification
Before handover, we completed full installation testing and issued an Electrical Installation Certificate for the entire property.
